Blog Winding Down

This blog was intended to celebrate and promote the satirical character Porno the Clown. It may be deleted if news doesn't improve about the proposed long-planned feature. Frankly, a lot of ducks have to line up for this to be worthwhile including a series of vocal updates to keep the character alive. Frankly as it veers away from the SPECIFICS that are needed - the movie as defined by the current screenplay - it is less appealing as a future prospect. I have unpublished the Facebook page for the film because there is little point in updating it and following it. Ultimately, some people had a more loose vision of the project than I did. That is the core reason we have lost some resources and moral or immoral support. If it is to start from scratch, to me as a writer that means dropping all clown references and creating a new character who can use some of the banter I've written so it won't go to waste. Having said that, there is already a novella generated from the previous draft and unused ideas from shorts over the past ten years. That will be the new life of Porno the Clown. I would really have to be persuaded to think of bringing the character to life now as a movie. There has already been a lot of work and stress and differed gratification up to this point. The movie is past due.
